WELLNESS ONCOLOGY & HEMATOLOGY
There are three main types of bladder cancer. The most common is urothelial carcinoma (also known as transitional cell carcinoma), and there are several subtypes of this type of cancer. The less common types of bladder cancer include squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. Bladder cancer is generally associated with blood in the urine, either easily apparent to the individual or seen only by microscopic detection after a urine sample is given. Bladder cancers are commonly associated with anemia, a blood disorder treated by the hematologists at Wellness Oncology & Hematology.
Dr. Shaye, Dr. Lashkari, and Dr. Ho know that even if you have the most common form of bladder cancer, no two cancers are exactly the same, just like no two patients are the same. They will work with you to understand the genes of your specific cancer to provide you with the optimum treatment and the greatest probability for recovery.
