Our own Dr Omid Shaye, will be moderating a panel of local experts on the new methods of diagnosis, the improving prognosis and new treatment options in breast cancer at West Hills Hospital located in West Hills and serving the Calabasas and Woodland Hills communities.
Dr Shaye is a beloved member of the community, having been raised in the San Fernando Valley and a University of Southern California Graduate through and through.
Dr Shaye will not just be reviewing breast cancer facts and breast cancer statistics. He will be giving his thoughts and experiences with the hundreds and hundreds of breast cancer patients he has treated with the many types of breast cancer including "Triple-Negative" breast cancer and "Her-2-Neu Positive" Breast cancer as well.
Donna Boelke, a breast cancer survivor, will be present to present her personal journey through breast cancer and to show that breast cancer is not just about survival, it's about living through and after breast cancer as well.
